It’s Time to Let It Go!
So many times in life we hold on to past mistakes and disappointments which are keeping us from fulfilling the perfect plan that God has for our lives. For 30 years I was bitter and angry about my father not being a part of my life. When I finally let it go I began to truly enjoy life. I realized that God allows things to happen for a reason; It’s Time to Let It Go…………………
Maybe you were abused, raped or suffered through Domestic Violence.
It’s time to let it go…….
Don’t think forgiving people makes you weak; forgiving them makes you strong enough to know that people makes mistakes.
Acts 26:18
To open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me.
Maybe you made the wrong choices and you wish you could go back and correct it. God allowed you to make those mistakes so that you could receive wisdom.
Job 12:13
But true wisdom and power are with God; counsel and understanding are his.
Job 28:17
Wisdom is far more valuable than gold and crystal. It cannot be purchased with jewels mounted in fine gold.
Everything in life changes you in some way, even the smallest things. If you do not accept these changes, you do not accept yourself. For through these changes brings new and greater things to you, making you wiser as time progresses. To avoid these changes is a loss. You only live your life once. Do not waste a minute of it avoiding things. Let them come to you, and learn from them.
Proverbs 3:18
Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly.
If you live a life guided by wisdom, you won’t limp or stumble as you run.
Tomorrow is not always promised, everything happens for a reason, eventually all the pieces will fall into place……………..
Until then laugh at the confusion, live for the moment and just know everything happens for a reason.
Proverbs 19:8
To acquire wisdom is to love oneself; people who cherish understanding will prosper.
Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Many Blessings,
